These terms explain how you may use this website, growingdeeproots.org, and the Daily Verse app. By using them, or by giving through this site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Using the site

The daily verses, devotionals, photos, prayers and encouragement on this site are here for your personal, non-commercial use. You’re welcome to share them with family, friends and anyone who needs them, as long as you credit Deep Roots Ministries and don’t change the content. Please don’t sell our content or use it in ads or products.

Please don’t misuse the site: don’t try to break it, send spam through it, or use it to harm anyone.

Prayer requests and messages

When you send a prayer request or message through the site, or by email to prayer@growingdeeproots.org or help@growingdeeproots.org, it may be read by ministry staff and volunteers who pray for you and reply. Please don’t include sensitive personal information, such as medical details, account numbers or passwords, beyond what you’re comfortable sharing. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle what you send.

We’re a ministry, not an emergency or professional service. If you’re in danger, call 911. If you’re in crisis, call or text 988.

Giving

Online gifts are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Gifts are voluntary and generally aren’t refundable. If you gave by mistake, such as the wrong amount or a duplicate gift, email help@growingdeeproots.org within 30 days and we’ll review it.

You can cancel a monthly gift at any time by contacting us, and no further gifts will be charged after it’s cancelled.

The Daily Verse app

These terms also apply to the Daily Verse app wherever they’re relevant, along with the terms of the app store you downloaded it from.

Links to other websites

The site links to other websites, such as social media, Stripe’s checkout and Bible resources. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, policies or practices.

Disclaimer

The site, the app and their content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep them accurate and running, but we don’t promise they’ll always be available, error-free or suited to a particular purpose. Nothing on the site is medical, legal, financial or professional counseling advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Deep Roots Ministries, Inc., its directors, staff and volunteers aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount, if any, you gave us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Florida.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
