Deep Roots Ministries, Inc. (“we,” “us”) runs this website, growingdeeproots.org, and the Daily Verse and Church Finder apps. We collect as little as we can, we never sell anything about you, and prayer requests stay with our prayer team.
When you contact us
If you send a prayer request or ask for help, we receive the name, phone number or email, and message you give us. Only our prayer team and ministry leaders read it. We use it to pray for you and to reply. We don’t share it outside the ministry unless you ask us to, or the law requires it. Ask us at any time to delete your message and we will.
To keep out spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a real person is sending the message. Cloudflare may process technical details such as your browser and IP address to do this.
When you give
Online gifts are handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card or bank number. We keep a record of each gift (your name, contact details, amount and date) so we can send receipts and meet legal and accounting requirements.
When you visit the website
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to run and protect the site. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google can see your IP address when a page loads.
Daily Verse app
The Daily Verse app doesn’t ask for an account and doesn’t send us anything about you. Your favorites and settings are saved only on your device. The Support button opens this website.
Church Finder app
With your permission, Church Finder uses your location while the app is open to show churches near you. To find them, the app sends the map area you’re looking at to a map service: Apple Maps on iPhone and iPad, and OpenStreetMap in other versions. We don’t receive or store your location. Saved churches stay on your device.
Children
Our website and apps aren’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date.
